TR3A - 1959 model - TS42747

John says:

"I bought the car in '76 after crashing my Spitfire. I wanted a better, bigger more powerful Triumph sportscar with an overdrive and found it in the weekend paper for $3000. Bought it in the dark of night!

The TR had a hard top and was all original being well looked after by the previous owners. I serviced it myself and it gave only minimal problems over the years. It took me everywhere. Drove it as my personal vehicle up to 1990 when we moved to Tasmania and it was then retired. Participated in the Unique Cars Targa Tasmania Tour in 2010.

Now I am retired and the car has been mechanically restored. There was never a question of selling it........such a great car."
